How We Work
Lydia Mann, Esq. [She/her/hers]
Hi, I’m Lydia. I am an attorney with Zachary W. Anderson Law, where I lead the firm’s estate planning and probate practice and assist across other practice areas as needed.
I bring a steady, thoughtful approach to planning for the future, grounded in years of hands-on legal experience and client advocacy. Before joining the firm, I managed a high-volume caseload, overseeing dozens of matters at a time from intake through resolution. That work required careful analysis, clear communication, and consistent follow-through. Those same skills now guide my work helping clients plan for long-term stability, protect their families, and navigate probate with clarity and confidence.
My background also includes significant public-interest and advocacy work. During law school and beyond, I worked with the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence on matters involving U-Visas, T-Visas, and protective orders. I also gained experience in family, juvenile, and civil litigation through prior firms and the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office. That perspective informs my estate planning work, particularly for blended families and clients facing moments of transition or uncertainty.
I value people-first lawyering. I focus on listening carefully, understanding the full picture of a client’s life, and offering practical guidance that meets people where they are, not where they think they should be. My work is shaped by a belief in accessibility, dignity, and long-term problem solving rather than quick fixes.
Outside of my legal practice, I am deeply involved in my community through leadership and volunteer roles, and I bring a strong organizational and strategic mindset to everything I do. I am known for being analytical, compassionate, and direct, with a calm presence that many clients find grounding during stressful decisions.
I am licensed to practice law in Nebraska and work closely with the rest of the firm to ensure estate planning integrates seamlessly with each client’s broader legal needs.
Carly Bingham [She/her/hers]
Hi, I’m Carly. I support Zachary W. Anderson Law as the firm’s office manager, legal assistant, and bookkeeper—roles that let me blend precision, structure, and clear communication with real human compassion. Coming from a strict religious background and later rebuilding my life outside of it, I understand how disorienting it can feel to navigate systems that aren’t built with marginalized people in mind—women, ex-Mormons, queer folks, caregivers, or anyone who’s been taught to stay small. That perspective shapes how I run the operations side of this firm: with transparency, steadiness, and a commitment to making sure clients feel seen, respected, and supported at every step.
Nya Bryant, J.D. [She/her/hers]
Hi, I’m Nya Bryant. I support Zachary W. Anderson Law as a paralegal in which I combine detail-oriented legal work with clarity, empathy, and steady client support. As someone who has navigated demanding systems on my own path as a minority through law school, bar preparation, and the legal field, I understand how overwhelming it can feel to face processes that aren’t designed with everyday people in mind. That lived experience shapes the way I show up in my work: with patience, transparency, and a commitment to making sure every client feels informed, respected, and genuinely cared for from start to finish.
Bonnie Casserilla [She/her/hers]
Hi, I’m Bonnie. I am a second-year law student at Creighton University School of Law, and a law clerk at Zachary W. Anderson Law. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah and came to Nebraska for law school but found home. I am a mom of two precocious boys; with my oldest son on the autism spectrum. Trying to find support navigating the special needs life lead me back to school with a passion to advocate for underrepresented communities. I was so excited to find a law firm that was founded on the values that are so important to me, and I know that I will be able to make a difference as a member of this team!
Oliver Halliwell [He/his/him]
Hi, I’m Oliver. I’m a third-year law student at Creighton University School of Law and a law clerk at Zachary W. Anderson Law. I grew up in a small town in western Nebraska, and serving individuals and families in this state is personal to me. As an openly queer person, I bring empathy, inclusivity, and lived understanding into my work, especially when clients are navigating stressful or vulnerable moments. I believe the law should be accessible, compassionate, and grounded in real human needs. Outside of work and school, I enjoy songwriting and collecting antiques, which reflects my appreciation for storytelling, history, and attention to detail.
Building a Compassionate Practice
My practice keeps growing, and I’m always open to connecting with people who care about the same things I do: treating clients with respect, communicating clearly, and doing work that genuinely helps families move forward. If you’re thoughtful, dependable, and drawn to a practice centered on real human needs, I’d like to hear from you.
I welcome attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and professionals in marketing, social media, and operations who want to be part of a small, mission-driven practice. You don’t need to know everything. You just need to care about people, be willing to learn, and be comfortable working in a detail-heavy, service-focused environment.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
This firm serves clients from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. The same commitment extends to the people who work here. I value a team that reflects the diversity of the community we serve and believe that different perspectives make our work stronger, more compassionate, and more effective. If you share those values, you’ll fit right in.
